Be the Calm During the Storm

We recognize how difficult of a time this is for many of our families. With the state of the world currently and all the uncertainty around us, it is natural for you as a parent to feel a lot of stress and anxiety right now. You're not alone in this. We see how hard you are working to support your children right now -- academically and emotionally. We see how hard you are working to balance everything being thrown at you right now, and we know it's not easy.

We want to encourage you this week to do something to take care of yourself in these times. We know how quick you are to step up to support your children, and you deserve to give that same warmth and compassion to yourselves. Taking care of yourself and taking time to prioritize your own wellbeing is one of the best ways to model what positive mental health looks like for your child.

Read this article with some helpful strategies about how to avoid passing some of the anxiety you may be experiencing right now on to your kids. As always, we are here to support you and your child in any way we can. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to help.
